Imagine yourself walking in a dark deserted street, deep in thought, pondering about the many intricacies of love. On why you and him broke up. On why he’s still in your heart when he has obviously moved on leaving you in a pit hole of misery and depression. Imagine yourself this. And while drowning in self-pity, you fail to realize that he’s been there all along, following in your wake; making sure that no harm comes to you. He’s tracing your every step, his heart breaking every time you take a deep breathe and shake your head. He’s silently walking behind you, afraid that you’ll get a glimpse of his shadow. He knows how much pain he’s caused you and he doesn’t want to see you cry again when you see him. Imagine this.
